I believe that we already have all the materials we need as makers and designers. This is why my work is driven by material exploration and preservation. How can I repurpose, interact with, and transform an existing material? How can we as artists continue to create without producing  excess waste.

I find most of my inspiration in antique textiles, vintage intarsia knitting graphics, or learning through mending and repair work. Designing sustainably through traditional, slow methods of making.
